Program Overview
Welcome to Legal Education in the Community: The Rights and Responsibilities of the Family Home. This website is designed to serve as a resource for homeowners in Cook County to help them understand their legal and financial obligations. The site is divided into a series of modules, each featuring informational interviews with legal professionals, community organizers, and government officials, as well links to additional resources.
Each module should take twenty to thirty minutes to complete. To access the modules, click on the tabs in the menu at the top of the page. You can watch the material at your own pace, and can pause the interviews to take notes.
